1. Park Warden Couple - Lickhill Manor Caravan Park (Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire)

Capable and customer friendly couple required to join the team at Lickhill Manor Caravan Park as Park Wardens. Lickhill Manor is a picturesque, Visit England 5 Star Holiday Park situated near the Georgian canal town of Stourport-on-Severn. The park is a mix of 125 owner occupied holiday homes and 400 touring caravan, motorhome and camping pitches.

Park Wardens will report to the Park Managers who are responsible for the day to day running of the park. Park Warden responsibilities include (but are not limited to): primarily touring and camping booking & greeting (the lodge accommodation includes the touring field Booking Office), washroom and stock cleaning, ground maintenance, general park maintenance, holiday home sales (on the Park Managers Days off), etc. Previous experience is advantageous, but not a necessity as training will be provided.   

It is preferred that both applicants hold a full driving licence.

Working Hours

Full time, permanent positions.

SUMMER MONTHS - circa 50-60 hours per week, over 5-6 days.

WINTER MONTHS - circa 40-45 hours per week, over 5-6 days.

As we operate in the tourism industry weekend and bank holiday work will be necessary.  

Park Wardens cover the Park Manager’s days off and holidays, so flexibility is required.

 

Remuneration

£10.00 per hour per person (rising to £10.25 in April 2022). Circa £1,000-1,200 a week during summer months.

Two bedroom rent free lodge is provided. Water usage free. Electricity and gas usage chargeable.

 

Start date: January 2022.

 

2. Warden Couple ​- The Glen Caravan Park (Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire)

The Glen Caravan Park is an award-winning, countryside holiday park located only a short walk from the delightful town of Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire. The Glen is a long-established park with 114 static caravan holiday homes, all of which are owner occupied.

We require a warden couple with complementary skills to reside at The Glen and assist the park managers in the smooth day to day running of the park. One of the warden positions will be full time and will mainly involve grounds person/technician duties, such responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): general park maintenance, gardening, holiday home siting, pitch development, etc.

The second warden will work varied hours and duties consist of (but are not limited to); holiday home sales, cleaning of the sales stock and park office, reception duties, phone cover, gardening, park maintenance, etc.   

It is preferred that both applicants hold a full driving licence.

Working hours

1 x full time warden & 1 x warden with varied hours depending on the time of year – both positions are permanent.

Full time warden hours - 5-6 days per week, depending on workload and park manager holidays.

Varied hours warden - As we operate in the tourism industry there will be more work in the summer months and less during the winter months:

SUMMER MONTHS - typically, 35-45 hours per week.

WINTER MONTHS - typically, 15-25 hours per week.

Park wardens cover the park manager’s days off and holidays, so flexibility is required. Also, some weekend and bank holiday work will be necessary. 

Remuneration

£9.60 per hour per person (raising to £10.25 in April 2022). Spacious two bedroom rent free accommodation is provided. Electricity and gas usage chargeable.

Holiday

Full time warden - 30 days

Varied hours warden - 1 hour paid leave for every 8.3 hours worked

Start date: as soon as mutually agreeable.  

 

 

3. Warden Couple - Borders Hideaway & Stay on Wye (Hay-on Wye, Powys)

Hillandale Caravan Parks is a family run group with 8 high quality parks in England and Wales. Two of the parks, Borders Hideaway and Stay on Wye, are located near the charming town of Hay on Wye.

We require a full-time Warden Couple to assist the Borders Hideaway Park Managers in the day to day running of the park. Borders Hideaway has 47 holiday homes (all of which are owner occupied), 17 seasonal touring pitches and 17 short stay touring pitches.  Warden responsibilities include (but are not limited to): touring and camping booking & greeting, washroom & sales holiday home cleaning, ground maintenance, reception duties, general park maintenance, holiday home sales (on the Park Managers Days off), etc. 

The Warden accommodation is located at Stay on Wye, a woodland park on the bank of the River Wye, which is currently closed for refurbishment. Wardens are responsible for grounds maintenance, managing park security, renovation works and overseeing contractors when they are on park. Typically, Wardens will spend 1 day per week working at Stay on Wye.

Both applicants must hold a full driving licence.

Working Hours

Full time, permanent positions.

5-6 days per week, depending on the season workload and Park Managers holidays.

Park Wardens cover the Park Manager’s days off and holidays, so flexibility is required, with weekend and bank holiday work, as is typical in the tourism sector.

Remuneration

£9.60 per hour per person (raising to £10.25 in April 2022).

One bedroom rent free accommodation provided. Electricity and gas usage chargeable.

4. Seasonal Warden Couple- Morfa Bychan

Enthusiastic couple required to join the experienced team at Morfa Bychan Holiday Park. Morfa Bychan is a high-quality holiday park located on the scenic West Wales coast overlooking Cardigan Bay, just a few miles south from the seaside town of Aberystwyth. The park has 224 owner occupied holiday homes, 5 hire fleet caravans and 75 touring caravan, motorhome and camping pitches.

Seasonal Wardens will report to the Park Managers who are responsible for the day to day running of the park. Seasonal Warden responsibilities include (but not limited to); touring and camping booking & greeting (the accommodation is situated at the touring field entrance), washroom cleaning, evening walks when busy, reception and shop work, ground maintenance, sales holiday home cleaning, general maintenance, etc.  Previous experience is advantageous, but not a necessity as training will be provided.

It is preferred that both applicants hold a full driving licence.

Working Hours

Full time, seasonal.

5-6 days per week, depending on workload and park manager holidays. As we operate in the tourism industry weekend and bank holiday work will be necessary.   

Seasonal Wardens cover the Park Manager’s days off and holidays, so flexibility is required.

£10.00 per hour per person (rising to £10.25 in April 2022).

Two bedroom rent free accommodation is provided. Electricity and gas usage chargeable.

Start date: 1st March 2022, however the positions can commence earlier if preferrable to candidates.

End date: 31st October 2022, with possibility to extend beyond depending on workload.
